A Delaware Christmas

Well after a week and half, its back to the grind for this house. I must admit its hard to go back today, but the good news is that tomorrow we leave for New Orleans to see the Hokies take on Michigan. :-)

We spent the last week in Delaware enjoying family, friends, and seeing some cool Delaware sights (and yes they do exist).  It was a busy yet great time! Thanks to everyone who hosted and that we got to see, what a blessing.

One day we did some Delaware Attractions and went to this new place called the Russell W. Peterson Urban Wildlife Refuge. Even on a cold cloudy day this was a great place. I can't imagine how beautiful it must be on a warm summer day. If you are ever in Wilmington or live there now, you should plan a trip to go see it. We got some great pictures, too!  We also visited the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts, which was also free. It ended up being a fun, free morning for us!

Although we got no snow this year, it was still an enjoyable Christmas Season! I hope you all had a great holiday season and ready to tackle the new year! Happy New Year!
