Meanwhile, I had a wonderful relaxing weekend filled with friends, rocks, and sewing.
Saturday the hubby and I headed up to Rock City to enjoy some amazing views and some really furry animals. This is fun place! The views are incredible! Yet it is really expensive, I recommend bringing a lunch and games and make it day trip. If you keep walking the entire thing it take about 2 hours straight (that is SLOW walking, too) - and when you pay $20 per person - that ends up a little pricey in my book (but we do have a year-long membership, so we are free every time we go :-) . Here are some cool pictures from the day.

Believe it or not this is the first thing I have made for our baby due the first week in November! I feel like I just opened a can of worms. While I was at it, I found a pattern on Pinterest for these cute little kimono shoes, too!
I hope you had an amazing and relaxing weekend too!
P.S. Did I mention that I re-decorated our bedroom this weekend? Nesting is starting to hit me (a little early isn't it?) - get ready to see the results on Wednesday!
